The STREAM Consortium, through Equanima21 (www.equanima21.it) as project leader, and the participation of Trend Energy (www.trendenergy.it) for electrical sizing, has been contracted to build a mega photovoltaic plant on behalf of Tiepolo Srl.

The investment is one of the largest in northern Italy, and will be developed on 9.2 hectares of land, with series of state-of-the-art photovoltaic solar panels, and a peak power, that is, on the sunniest days, of more than 8.9 MW. The plant will be installed in Santa Bianca di Bondeno in the province of Ferrara under a 20-year agreement between the Tiepolo company and the municipality.

The STREAM Consortium brings together the expertise of a group of companies operating with common environmental values and ideals, but in different fields in the renewable energy sector, .with the goal of a broader and more comprehensive response to the demands of the growing market for sustainable resources.

The authorization to STREAM by the client includes E.I.A. (Environmental Impact Assessment) and A.U. (Unified Authorization) for the construction of an east-west solar tracking ground-mounted photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 8.94 MWh. Once fully operational, the plant will produce around 12 GWh of energy, equivalent to the needs of about 4000 households, contributing to the reduction of more than 6400 tons of CO2 annually.
